Reference
A reference is something most people will need from time to time over the course of their working life. And a good reference can be worth its weight in gold. Over the years we have provided such for students who have taken and passed our practical Paralegal and Para-Legal Secretary courses. However, this facility was not available for those who took our practical free legal skills course as it only awarded a Certificate of Attendance.
Now, for those who take our free legal skills course and who opt to take a Certificate of Competency/Pass a Job Reference can be provided.
We provide two types of Job Reference.
The first (type A) is based on a person having passed the practical training contained in this course which involves simulations of the type of work one could face if working for a law firm.
The second (type B) Job Reference we provide is for those who apply for and who are accepted for Work Placement / Work Experience with the school. This job reference is based on actual work done for the school and obviously carries more weight. Why not add our school as a Job Reference!

Please note: The details of those who hold a Certificate of Pass are kept on our records indefinitely and can be accessed for the purposes of providing a written job reference at any time.
