Course Recognition

The course awards two certificates one of which is recognised.

Note: Unlike lawyers, doctors and accountants there are no government appointed or recognised awarding bodies/institutions or organisations for secretaries, be they medical secretaries or legal secretaries. All such bodies are self appointed.

For example Pitman's the oldest and the longest secretary trainer (since 1870) only make the following claim on their legal secretary webpage "...On completion of your final exams, you will receive a Pitman Training Diploma that is recognised nationally and internationally by employers."...  Notice that Pitman's say "recognised by EMPLOYERS" (not an awarding body). In other words national and international employers recognise the Pitman name and brand.
