Free: Train for a Job in Law
Course
Certification
The free legal skills and court trainingt course covers Civil court case matters and awards a FREE Certificate of Attendance for those who complete it. However, for those who want to prove to a prospective employer that they have passed a test of their abilities a Certificate of Pass is also available. To obtain a certificate of pass will require that a student answers the 24 questions contained in the course materials which will be sent to the student after the training day at the High Court. It should also be noted that students with a Certificate of Pass can request that the school provide them with a written JOB REFERENCE for a prospective employer. This option is available for a £25 test and marking fee (reduced to £20 if paid for on the day of training at the High Court) Please note: Optional Extra Training. The CIVIL COURT training held at the High Court is completely free, however, there is further training available. It is optional, revolves around Criminal Court training matters and awards a recognised Certificate* if combined with the free Civil Court training. Taking the optional extra course does require the payment of a small fee. However, as already mentioned this is entirely optional you are under no obligation to take up this option.
The optional extra training course starts off at a Crown Court (the Old Bailey is a Crown Court). And similar to the civil court training the criminal court training course also includes further home study.
In addition to a recognised certificate passing this course will also make you eligible to apply for membership of the National Association of the Licensed Paralegals.
The fee for the Optional Extra training session and for a Recognised Certificate is as follows:-
Employed persons (full or part time) £99 (min deposit on the day £50)
Students (with a valid Student ID) £50 (min deposit on the day £25)
Unemployed (unemployed proof required) £50 (min deposit on the day £25)
For the Optional Extra training at the Crown Court and a recognised certificate pay the above fee either before or after a High Court training session. For Optional Extra morning & afternoon start dates click here To enrol on an Optional Extra training course session click here
